Safe Families for Children Denver Metro exists to respond to God’s call for the church to practice radical hospitality within communities, addressing the challenges of social isolation, limited access to resources, and parental stress that often leads to foster care and family separation. We provide an innovative, evidence-based approach that supports parents by connecting them to a caring network of relationships and resources before child welfare involvement becomes necessary.

At Safe Families, we believe no parent should face a crisis alone. By walking alongside parents facing crisis situations or unmanageable circumstances, we provide a safety net of support to help keep more children safe and families together!

At Safe Families for Children, we recognize that facing life alone as a parent is hard. That is why we connect parents with locally vetted volunteers who walk alongside them, offering a network of relationships and resources to help them get back on their feet.

We create an extended-family-like Circle of Support that provides community, hope, and belonging, allowing parents to stabilize their situation, overcome obstacles, and build a brighter, more stable future for themselves and their children.

Our goal is to support and strengthen families facing crisis, prevent child abuse and neglect, and reduce the number of children unnecessarily entering foster care – ultimately keeping more families together.
